Reformation Sunday, 10/30/11

October 30th, 2011 is Reformation Sunday.  This is known as the day Martin Luther posted 95 theses or statements on the front door of the Catholic church, proclaiming what he thought was wrong within it. 

Which makes it the perfect weekend to have the confirmation students from OSLC proclaim in front of the congregation their beliefs as well.  Please join them and their families during the 10:00 service at the East Mesa campus as we welcome them into the Lutheran Church as full members.

Also join us at 4:00 pm at the East Mesa Campus for a special service put together by the Grand Canyon Synod, Rio Salado Conference.  This service has multiple churches from the east valley coming together to celebrate the history and story of the Lutheran church.  We will also be offering this service as a LIVE web cast for your convenience if you're not able to make it in person.  Simply go to the "Worship" tab on the Home page and then click on "Live Video Worship".
